Prayer Circle Story

As I pulled into the parking lot of Olive Garden one night about closing time, I slipped into a space beside a small group of four people standing in a prayer circle.

Even before I turned off the engine, I could feel their prayer ~the warmth, the intention, the sincerity of it ~ reaching outward like a soft ripple in the air.

I parked, turned off the lights, and quietly chose to send my love toward whatever they were praying for.

As I opened my heart, I felt their Christian prayer move through me ~their blessings for the return of health of a friend, and then for everyone to travel home safely.

I continued to send my energy, and spiritually heard them close their prayer with:

“In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Amen.”  

And just like that, the connection dissolved.

Moments later, they dispersed into their cars, unaware of the invisible thread that had connected us.

What struck me was the reminder that it doesn’t matter how you communicate with Spirit ~

whether you call it God, the Divine, your Higher Self, the Universe, or simply Love.

What matters is the intention you place into the world.

Spirit meets you there, always with compassion, always with love.

This moment warmed my heart and reminded me ~and now I hope it reminds you ~

to stay connected to your spiritual side, to remember who you truly are, and to trust the quiet ways Spirit speaks.

Your living situation, your possessions, your circumstances… none of these define your spiritual truth.

No matter what is happening around you, you always have the power to choose how you think, how you feel, and how you respond.

If you take a breath, step back, and allow Creation in ~even in stressful moments ~

Spirit will meet you.

And when you offer gratitude, Spirit will find new ways to bring more gratitude into your life.
